Scotty and Angela Roten have worked side by side in the music ministry for over three decades. They have two sons: Cameron and Caleb, and welcomed a daughter-in-law in 2023. In our music ministry, Angela does vocals and Scotty handles scheduling, plays piano, rhythm guitar, and bass guitar.
Cameron Roten began singing with Faith River at a young age and continues to minister with Faith River with his vocals and on the mandolin. Cameron's creative touch on the mandolin helps make our sound unique. In August of 2023, he married his high-school sweetheart, Kacie.
Caleb Roten also began singing with the group at a very young age. Today he continues to minister with the group when his college schedule allows. He is a 2025 graduate of Gardner Webb University with a degree in Psychology. He will be attending Law Enforcement Training in Summer of 2025.
Gary and Sharon Warren have been faithful in ministry throughout their over 50 years together and were part of a gospel quartet named The Witnesses in the 1980s. Gary and Sharon have a married daughter, a married son, and four grandchildren (all boys!) Their daughter, Angela, two of their grandchildren, and their "favorite son-in-law" Scotty are part of Faith River.
Jeff Moore is our lead guitarist, one of the founding members of Faith River, and has been a faithful part of our music ministry for years. Jeff is an accomplished finger style guitarist. He is married to Donna, and they have three daughters and five grandchildren.
John & Amy Worley have been an integral part of Faith River for many years. They have two children, Sierra and Jonathan. John is a deacon at Millers Creek Baptist Church, where he works with the praise band when the group is not traveling. John sings and is our percussionist. He plays a drum set but will also often play a box called the Cajon, which is a great tool and conversation piece! Amy helps manage our product table, videos, and images.
Dan and Susie Lankford - Dan has been with Faith River since 2006. He is an accomplished pianist who brings a variety of styles to our music. Dan has one son, Eyan, and loves to watch him compete in his sporting events. Susie is the life of the party! She keeps our team smiling and laughing as we travel together.
Jody and Kelly Brown- Jody joined the team in 2022 as our Sound Technician and Kelly in 2024 as our visual coordinator. Jody and Kelly both use their talents each week to make sure we sound the best we can. Each with their unique talents help the services stay on track. Jody also leads our weekly devotions at practice to make sure we remain focused. A smile and encouraging word are always present when Kelly is around!
Chris Wyatt - We knew God had plans for our team to expand and increase our ministry., and Chris joined us as our main bass guitar player in early 2023. He has a heart for ministry and a great talent! He also keeps all of us laughing and makes the long trips shorter with his funny stories and antics. Chris is married to his wife Jamie and has three daughters.
Karlie Huffman joined Faith River in 2023. She is currently the youngest member of our team, a 2025 West Wilkes High School Graduate. She will be attending Forsyth Tech in the fall of 2025. Karlie brings the energy needed to push our team to the next level, always looking at new ways to do old songs and keeping us always learning and forward thinking. The world needs more young people with a desire to minister the way Karlie does!

Charlie and Tracy Huffman help us in so many ways. The parents of Karlie and Kelsie, they are active members of the team, assisting in any way they see a need. They are always on hand to help move equipment, assist with media and planning, and organize all the moving parts behind the scenes. Tracy is our product manager and is always found with a smile at our product table.
