a word from pastors/ organizers/ worship leaders

This is Pastor Adam Wood at SONcrest Outreach Church. For years now we’ve been having the singing group Faith River come and lead worship at the church on Sunday mornings. We try to get them there at least once a year, sometimes twice if their schedule allows. This is a wonderful group of individuals who love the Lord and earnestly desire to be obedient to the Lord. They will tell you every service that they pray that we the congregation would see the Lord during this service or they have done it wrong. Amen  it’s all about Jesus. I highly recommend this group to any church. As a pastor it is refreshing for them to come in to help get me fed and also get a much needed break from time to time. They have a wonderful setup process and when they leave they will make sure it looks good or even better than when they got there. If you need to chat with me about them coming, email me at [email protected] or call me at 336-452-1490. God bless and love you all. - Pastor Adam Wood

Our church has had the tremendous blessing of having Faith River join us for our worship service on several occasions. Each time our hearts are directed heavenward as Faith River inspires with song and testimony. Their group brings a mixture of gospel songs that are a delight for all ages. Personally, knowing the members of the group, I know that each song is bathed in prayer and their ministry seeks God's sovereign direction for each appointment. Faith River is a blessing! Continued prayers for each member as they serve and share their talents with others.          - Pastor Phillip Boyce (Pastor of Stony Hill Baptist Church)

Scotty,
I would like to thank you and all of Faith River for the revival services at Friendship Church in March. Faith River has been with us many times but this is the first time we have had the pleasure to hear you preach. Your messages were powerful and touched the hearts of church
members and visitors alike and the illustrations resonated with all age groups. It seemed that God had spoken directly to you, as to what we needed. People are still mentioning points of the message often. In these times, some preachers seem to preach feel good messages
designed to tickle the ears of those sitting in the pews. You were challenging, Christocentric, and biblically based. Thank you for being a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As always, each member of Faith River brings Christ alive in their music and actions. Talking
with members of the group, their humble Christ loving spirit was so evident. Each one seemed
to feel as John the Baptist when he said; “He (Jesus) must increase, and I must decrease.” What
a blessing Sunday morning service was as the group handled the whole service. God had been
using the song “Bring the Rain” to touch my heart all week before the revival. Even though you
had not practiced or planned to use it, you did. I believe God used that to prepare the hearts for
the rest of the week. Please let each person that came each evening to provide music know
how much we appreciate their ministry. I know that was a sacrifice to their families.
I pray that God’s blessing be upon each member of Faith River as you continue to share the
gospel in song and word.
In Christ’s Love, Wallace Cole- Pastor Friendship Church of the Brethren, Wilkesboro
